1:1 Teaching Assistant KS2

Job Introduction

Post to start as soon as possible.

Do you have the skills, passion and creativity to engage a child and help them reach their potential? Can you nurture, inspire, motivate and challenge them to overcome their barriers to learning? Can you support them to develop their self-esteem and raise their aspirations?

Tealby School is seeking to appoint a motivated, committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant for a 1:1 role with a child who has an EHCP. The hours will be confirmed. You will be working with an excellent team of teachers and teaching assistants and will be a flexible team player with a positive disposition.

It would be helpful if you have already worked as a TA in Key Stage 2 in a primary school, however, above all, we are looking for someone who is able to develop a nurturing relationship with the child to support them in developing the skills they need for learning and life.

Applicants should have at least a Level 2 qualification in working with children in an educational setting.

The post is temporary until the assistance is no longer required or the child leaves the school, whichever is earliest.

Application packs may be requested from mandy.carter@tealby.lincs.sch.uk
