St Christopher's Special School in Lincoln are seeking a full time Admin Assistant on a permanent basis.

Lincoln St Christopher’s and St Francis Federation cater for students and pupils between the ages of 2-19 with a range of needs. We are looking to recruit a hardworking and enthusiastic Admin Assistant for our St Christopher’s Primary site. The candidate will support the school’s administration, the federation operations team and the wider school team.


You will be responsible for:


• Providing an efficient and professional administration service to pupils, staff, visitors, and parents.
• To work effectively as part of the administration team. Assist the school administration and operations team with various administrative duties such as scanning, data input and ordering.
• Providing general administration and data input to support the school as required.
• Presenting a professional, welcoming service, greeting all visitors.
• Answering, screening and forwarding incoming calls, answer queries where possible and redirect appropriately where necessary.
• Responding to routine correspondence and enquiries from staff, parents and other stakeholders in the school shared email mailboxes.
• Pupil registers, school calendar & meeting room bookings.
• Parental communications. Distribution of all letters (incoming & outgoing).
• Preparation of the school newsletter.
• Receipt & distribution of incoming goods
• Managing stock supply.
• Participating in ad-hoc projects as they arise.
• Attending training and participating in personal and performance development as required.

We are looking for candidates who have:

• Experience of working in a similar role or willingness to learn and develop skills.
• The ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
• Flexibility, adaptability, resilience and patience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• A willingness to ‘go the extra mile’.
• Minimum qualifications required – GCSE English or Maths (Grace 4 (C) or above)

Salary: £24,796 (£21,267 actual)
Hours: 37
Weeks: Term time only plus 1 week
Site: St Christopher’s Primary School
