Woodlands Infant and Nursery School is seeking an enthusiastic and friendly School Administration Assistant to join our dedicated team. This is a key role at the heart of our school, supporting the smooth and efficient running of daily operations and contributing to our commitment to providing children with rich experiences, in line with our “Take Off and Fly” motto.
About the Role:
As our School Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and staff, and play a vital role in maintaining a welcoming and well-organised school environment. You will manage a wide range of administrative tasks, support communication across the school, and help ensure that systems and processes run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Front office duties including greeting visitors, answering calls, and managing emails.
• General administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, letter writing, and data entry.
• Maintaining pupil, staff, and governor records.
• Managing stock levels of stationery, first-aid supplies, and other resources.
• Supporting school systems including ParentMail, CPOMS, Tapestry, and
ScholarPack to
• Assisting with school meals administration and maintaining dinner registers.
• Processing payments for trips, clubs, and music lessons.
• Liaising with the caretaker and cleaner to support building maintenance.
• Providing administrative support to teachers and the wider school team.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
• Has previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a school setting.
• Is confident using Microsoft Office and other digital platforms.
• Has excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Communicates clearly and professionally with children, families, and colleagues.
• Is proactive, reliable, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Enjoys working in a busy, child-focused environment.
