Job Introduction
We are excited to recruit someone to work as a valued part of a close, community-minded team who can be proactive, work autonomously and is keen to provide an excellent after-school childcare service at our school.
You will play a vital role on the school team by helping to run our after school wraparound childcare club (Kids Club) each day. Kids Club is open from 3:20pm to 6:00pm every evening and is relied upon by lots of our families. Children are given an afternoon meal/snack and can engage in fun activities, before being collected by a parent/carer. You will help to run this provision each day, welcoming the children into the club, preparing and serving food, as well as maintaining high standards of tidiness, safety and food hygiene. Full training in these areas, and in safeguarding children, will be provided.
In a school like ours, collaboration and care are at the heart of everything we do, ensuring that both staff and children feel valued and supported. United by our commitment to excellence, we strive to achieve the best possible outcomes for every child, fostering a love of learning and encouraging personal growth. We are a community school in name and in nature; we work hard to ensure that the school plays an active role as a hub of the Corby Glen community.
A job description, person specification and application form can be downloaded from the school website or alternatively, contact the school to ask questions, receive an application pack or to arrange an open and informal discussion about the role with the headteacher if that would be useful (enquiries@corbyglen.lincs.sch.uk, 01476 550260). Completed application forms should be sent to the email address above before Thursday 22nd October 2026.
