The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Childcare Assistant with a Level 3 qualification to join our outstanding preschool team. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality care and education to our youngest children, supporting their development in a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality, child-focused care and support to children in the preschool setting
Work collaboratively with the team to deliver engaging activities that promote learning and development
Maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children
Support children’s social, emotional, and physical development in line with our school values and curriculum
Follow safeguarding and welfare policies to ensure children’s safety at all times
Hours and Working Pattern:
32.5 hours per week, term time only, plus one week of training days throughout the year
Hours between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm, working on a rota basis to provide flexibility and coverage
Person Specification:
Level 3 qualification in childcare or early years education (essential)
Experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational or childcare setting
A passion for supporting children’s development and well-being
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
