Job Introduction

Poplar Farm School requires a Cleaner.

Contract Type: Part-Time - 12.5 hours a week (3pm - 5.30pm,) Monday - Friday, term time only + 1 week in the summer

Start Date: 02/06/25


Poplar Farm is a new school which opened in September 2018. We are a warm, caring, inclusive and vibrant school where pupils are at the heart of every decision we make. We have a generous school site, with creative, bespoke learning areas both inside and outside.

The school is part of CIT (Community Inclusive Trust), a Multi Academy Trust comprising of special and mainstream primary schools across Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire.

The successful candidate will:

- Have knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Have good attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleaning tasks.
- Be reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Previous experience in cleaning, preferably in a school or commercial environment, is advantageous but not essential.
