The West Grantham Church of England Secondary Academy is seeking a highly organised, proactive and committed Exams Officer and BTEC Coursework Co‑ordinator to join our dedicated team.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a varied and pivotal position at the heart of the Academy’s academic operations. You will be responsible for the smooth and compliant running of all examinations and for leading the administration, tracking, and
co-ordination of BTEC qualifications across Key Stage 4.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Examinations:
• Managing all aspects of internal and external examinations in line with JCQ regulations and awarding body requirements.
• Liaising with teaching staff to confirm accurate exam entries and ensuring students understand exam expectations and timetables.
• Organising invigilation, exam rooms, resources and special access arrangements.
• Maintaining the secure storage, confidentiality and safety of examination materials.
• Overseeing results days, co-ordinating queries, appeals and post‑results services.
• Producing and analysing exam data to support senior leaders.
BTEC Coursework Coordination:
• Enrolling students on BTEC qualifications and monitoring their progress.
• Co-ordinating internal and external verification processes.
• Maintaining communication with awarding bodies, staff, students and parents.
• Preparing for and leading external verification visits.
Wider Responsibilities:
• Arranging cover for absent staff and liaising with supply agencies.
• Supporting daily office operations.
