Job Introduction

Navenby Church of England Primary School - recognised by Ofsted as a ‘Good’ School (Dec 2021).

EYFS Teacher (with KS1 experience) Main Scale ( M1 - M6).  The role is a permanent, full time post from 1st September 2025.

The Governors of this successful, friendly school are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teacher to join the talented and dedicated staff already in post.

The school is at the heart of the small, rural Lincolnshire village of Navenby with around 200 pupils on roll.  The school building and environment house a range of appealing facilities including a fantastic outdoor Reception area, drama studio, library, bicycle and scooter store, trim trail, community cairn, outdoor classroom and a stunning field.

Candidates for the post will in turn need to demonstrate:

• Recent experience and understanding of the EYFS curriculum
• The ability to work across Key Stage 1
• Knowledge of Read Write Inc would be beneficial
• The desire to excel in all aspects of school life
• Energy, enthusiasm and a passion for delivering quality teaching
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to contribute to a strong working team
• A commitment to continuous school improvement and personal development
• An ability to challenge all pupils to achieve their potential

EYFS experience is essential. Candidates are asked to outline all continuous professional development and highlight their curriculum strengths.

Fluency Duty

In accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 (Fluency Duty), the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
