Job Introduction

We are seeking to appoint zero hour Exam Invigilators, primarily for the Spring/Summer exam periods.

Haven High Academy is a popular, well-resourced and oversubscribed secondary school based in the heart of Boston, Lincolnshire.

The school cares passionately about every individual member of the academy's community and takes great pride in ‘working together as a team’ to ensure individual success is achieved.

This role is essential to the smooth running of the examination process. In addition to ensuring correct exam procedures are followed, you will be responsible for the setting out and collecting of exam papers and materials, admitting students to the exam hall/room, invigilating during the exams and collating the exam papers to be sent off to the exam boards. On occasion, invigilators may be called upon to read/scribe for individual students.

Fluency Duty

In accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 (Fluency Duty), the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
