Hawthorn Tree Primary School is seeking to appoint a Family Safeguarding and Attendance Officer vacancy for a May 2026 start.
This is a new position, recognising the importance of supporting all our children to attend school.

We are excited to invite applications for the position of Family Safeguarding and Attendance Officer to join our outstanding team of professionals.
About the Role
As a Family Safeguarding and Attendance Officer, you will provide high-quality support to identified pupils and families, working in collaboration with the SENDCo, Learning Mentor and SLT. You will take a lead role in providing high quality and effective safeguarding and pastoral support across the school, maintaining accurate records and working with colleagues, pupils, parents and external agencies to ensure appropriate plans and strategies are in place to support pupils and their families. You will provide a positive image of the school in all dealings with parents, visitors and outside agencies.
