Job Introduction
The HR Officer is a key role within the Core Services of Infinity Academies Trust. This position reports to the HR Manager and will support the HR function to ensure that we can effectively support our colleagues within our academies across our Trust.
The role includes:
- Utilising HR knowledge to support various functions including, recruitment, onboarding, performance management and employee relations
- Implementing and updating HR policies under the direction of the HR Manager in line with legal and educational guidelines
- Working closely with staff to ensure a positive and supportive work environment
- Maintaining accurate records within the Trust HR system and access data as instructed to provide key metrics and insights for decision making processes as instructed by the HR Manager
- Maintaining the individual Single Central Records for sites using the Trust approved templates and software
- Supporting with absence management processes under instruction and guidance from the HR Manager
- Supporting with all aspects of Trust payroll processes
- Undertaking a diverse range of administrative duties within the Trust, to ensure well presented and accurate correspondence, reports and other documentation as directed by the Core Services Team leaders and Directors.
We are looking to recruit someone for 37 hours per week , 52 weeks per year with 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). This role is based at our Head Office in Boston, Lincolnshire. On completion of initial training, there will be the opportunity to work from home up to 2 days per week depending upon the needs of the organisation and determined through workflow and with discussion with the line manager.
