32.5 hours per week
(actual salary £22,490 - £23,596)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) based at Colsterworth C of E Primary School.

The pupils, staff, trustees and governors of our school are seeking to appoint a dedicated and highly skilled individual to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. This varied role will involve:

• Supporting and aiding children’s learning as effectively as possible.
• Covering PPA and other absences throughout school.
• Preparing any resources needed to support teachers and children with teaching
and learning.
• Producing lesson plans, lesson tasks etc. and administering/invigilating and
assessing/marking tests.
• Monitoring and evaluating pupil responses to learning activities providing
appropriate feedback to teachers on children’s progress to inform planning.
• Supporting students consistently whilst recognising and responding to their
individual needs.
• Recognising own strengths and areas of expertise and use these to lead, advise
and support others.
• Delivering out-of-school learning activities within established guidelines

Candidates should already hold a relevant HLTA qualification and possess a minimum grade C at GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths
. Experience of working with SEN pupils would be an advantage.

Fluency Duty

In accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 (Fluency Duty), the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
