Job Introduction
Grasby All Saints C of E Primary School are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 1 teacher to join our team. You will be responsible for teaching children aged 5-7 years (Years 1 and 2), delivering engaging lessons across the National Curriculum and fostering a love of learning in our youngest pupils.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons for KS1 pupils following the National Curriculum
• Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that supports all children's development
• Assess, monitor and track pupil progress, providing regular feedback to children, parents and colleagues
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively using positive reinforcement strategies
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, support staff and other teachers
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to school data systems
• Participate in parents' evenings, school events and extra-curricular activities
• Support the school's safeguarding policies and procedures
