Washingborough Academy is a thriving primary school, educating 290 children on an extensive site just three miles from the vibrant city of Lincoln. We are looking for a passionate, supportive individual to join our dedicated team as a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant with additional lunchtime responsibilities.

Main Responsibilities:
• Provide tailored learning and care support for pupils with special educational needs (SEN).
• Assist teachers in planning and delivering activities, including individual education and support plans.
• Promote a safe, inclusive learning environment, and maintain high standards of behaviour.
• Supervise and engage children during lunchtime, ensuring safety and positive interaction in designated areas like the dining room and playground.
• Use your ICT skills to support learning and give regular feedback to teachers on pupil progress.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Patience, flexibility, and a caring nature.
• Ability to build positive relationships and make learning enjoyable.
• English and Maths GCSE (or equivalent).
• Previous experience with children with autism is desirable but not essential.
• Willingness to work as part of a team and learn about each child’s individual needs.

The role is 28.75 hours per week (39 weeks per year) 8.45am – 2.30pm Monday - Friday, although some flexibility may be required and/or available.
Salary: FTE £24,796.00, Actual £16,806.89
