Job Introduction
The staff and children at Faldingworth Primary School are looking for a caring and enthusiastic person to join our lunchtime team.
Midday Meals Assistant duties include (but are not exhaustive):
• Supervision of pupils at lunchtime - in the dining hall, playground, playing field and play equipment
• Encouraging positive play amongst pupils
• Monitoring and reporting incidents
• Behaviour management of children outside
• Supervising children in classroom during wet lunches
• Managing and organising children at lunchtime, supervising the children, setting up of the dining area, serving and clearing up after meals

Hours: Initially 8 hours per week (full time equivalent) during term time – 39 weeks per year
(Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays - 11:30pm-1:30pm)

Fluency Duty
In accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 (Fluency Duty), the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
