We are seeking hardworking and flexible persons to join our Midday Meals team at St Thomas C of E Primary Academy to start as soon as possible. We are an amazing school family with the most wonderful children and a team that always goes above and beyond.
We require 1 x Permanent Midday Meals Supervisor and 1 Temporary (Maternity Cover) from 11.45am until 1:15pm Monday to Friday every week (during term-time) to serve and to supervise children during their lunch period.
Reliability, punctuality and a commitment to teamwork is essential, as you will be joining a group of hardworking colleagues.
Roles and responsibilities:
- To set up the hall/ classroom on arrival – putting out tables, chairs and cutlery.
- To serve food to pupils ensuring that all pupils receive the meals that the parents have ordered.
- To supervise the pupils either in the hall or classroom.
- To be aware of any medical/dietary needs of those pupils in your care.
- To help clean the hall and classroom after the meals have been eaten.
- There will also be a requirement for further training in the role – for example- Food Hygiene & Allergy e-learning courses and manual handling.
