Midday Supervisory Assistant

We are seeking to recruit a Midday Supervisor to join our great team. The lunchtime experience should be a positive one in which our children should feel safe, socialise and enjoy themselves. The role of Midday Supervisor involves a range of tasks including:

Preparing the hall for dining including setting out tables, cleaning and setting up for each sitting
Serving meals
Encouraging children to eat, helping to cut up food and providing social support such as good table manners
Clearing and wiping tables
putting away tables
Sweeping and cleaning the dining area
Playtime supervision including play leading, positive behaviour management and being a good role model for the children
Administering basic first aid for minor bumps and grazes
Please note that it is essential that you are able to undertake all physical aspects of the role. These include walking between tables in the dinner hall, bending over to help the children cut up their food, and standing and walking for up to 1½ hours each day.

Fluency Duty
