Job Introduction
The Headteacher and Governing body of St Peter in Eastgate CofE (Controlled) Infant School are looking to appoint a Midday Supervisory Assistant serving hot meals, supervising lunch service, cleaning and sharing playground duties. They will need to be a warm caring person who is able to support other team members and be keen to contribute to the wider school community.
We are looking for candidates who have:
• Excellent interpersonal skills, being able to communicate effectively;
• Flexibility and adaptability;
• A willingness to learn and develop existing skills;
• A sense of humour;
• A willingness to ‘go the extra mile’;
• A willingness to undergo training;
• Must be computer literate, for training purposes;
• Understand the importance of safeguarding.
Desirable additional qualities and skills would be:
• First aid qualification
• Food Hygiene Certificate either current or held previously.
• Previous work experience with children.
• Previous work experience in a catering environment.
