Sir Francis Hill Primary School are currently seeking to appoint a Play Leader to support our pupils over the lunchtime period. The post will be for 6.25 hours per week to be worked 12pm – 13.15pm each day, term time only.

Sir Francis Hill Primary School is a large, busy primary school, where our team of caring staff work closely to provide pupils with a wide range of high-quality learning opportunities and a supportive, caring environment.
The role is varied, busy and active. As part of our midday team, you will be responsible for supervising the children and providing recreational pursuits.
The successful candidate will be required to:
• Plan and prepare activities to aid the social development of pupils
• Ensure pupil safety is in place at all times
• Co-ordinate and organise suitable games/activities
• Set up and oversee storage of portable equipment/resources
• Demonstrate creativity and innovation within policies and procedures and deliver activities to assist with the physical, emotional, educational and social development of young people

• Promote the safeguarding and welfare of the children in our school.
• Be able to contribute positively to our school team.
• Use their initiative and be practical, hardworking and organised.
