Reception Class Teacher
We are seeking a passionate, and dedicated Reception Class Teacher to join our exceptional team. This is an exciting opportunity for an early career teacher who is eager to continue providing an outstanding EYFS provision and work closely with an experienced mentor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated, and well-structured lessons that promote a love of learning and intellectual curiosity
- Effectively use assessment to monitor progress, set targets, and plan subsequent lessons
- Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a positive and safe learning environment
- Contribute to the design and provision of a stimulating and enriching EYFS curriculum
- Develop positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
- Actively participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching practice
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Demonstrable experience teaching in the EYFS
- A strong understanding of child development and the ability to adapt teaching to support pupils' education at different stages
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for early years education and a commitment to ensuring the best possible outcomes for all pupils

- Enthusiasm for innovation and a willingness to embrace new teaching methods
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

Salary: Main pay scale 1-3
