SEND Teacher

Required from 1 September 2025 or as soon as possible after that date.

Gonerby Hill Foot Church of England School is looking to employ a specialist SEND Teacher to join our established and experienced SEND hub team as we expand our provision from September.

The hub specialises in supporting children who have identified Communication and
Interaction needs.

Gonerby Hill Foot is a happy and friendly school where everyone is valued and respected. Our pupils are encouraged and praised so they feel confident in their abilities, know how to succeed and have inspirational goals, aiming for high standards to be the best they can be.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced teacher who may already have the SENDCO award, or who will be willing to work towards it.

The successful candidate will have

 a proven record of providing an inclusive and nurturing classroom and an adaptable and creative curriculum.
 knowledge of teaching across a key stage is essential.

A full package of CPD will be offered through external agencies and within the school.

Fluency Duty

In accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 (Fluency Duty), the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
