SEND Teaching Assistant
Fixed Term, Part Time

Hours: 25 hours per week (39 weeks per year)

Salary: Grade 3 point 6-9 (£24794 - £25989 FTE)

We are looking to appoint an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant who is passionate about pupils’ learning, enjoys being with children, has a positive attitude, and can work as part of a friendly and enthusiastic team.

We are looking for a person who:
- Has recent and relevant experience of working with children with additional needs in the primary age range.
- Will commit to our upholding school values and vision.
- Is flexible and adaptable in the role, you may be working with a whole class, a small group or individual children.
- Has desire and enthusiasm to make a difference for our children with a caring and approachable nature.
- Has high expectations for all pupils.
- Is highly motivated, has strong team working skills and is able to communicate effectively with staff, pupils and parents.
- Is educated to GSCE level standard or equivalent with passes including English and Maths at Grace C or above.
- Is able to follow a structured plan, based on the EHCP, to ensure excellent outcomes for the young person they are working with.

Fluency Duty
