School Administrator

Job Introduction

We are seeking a highly organised School Administrator to join our friendly team in centre of Boston. This is a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school office and supporting staff, pupils, and parents. This is a maternity cover post, temporary for up to one year.

Job Description:
Act as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and staff, providing a warm and professional welcome.
Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence efficiently.
Maintain accurate records and databases, including pupil information and attendance.
Support with financial administration, including processing invoices and handling petty cash.
Assist with organising school events, meetings, and communications.
Ensure compliance with safeguarding and data protection policies at all times.
This position is 37 hours per week, and is a temporary, maternity cover position.


Essential Criteria:
Well organised with attention to detail
Proficient IT skills (Microsoft Office)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing

Desired Criteria:
Previous school administration experience.
