Job Introduction
South Lincolnshire Academies Trust is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and confident Science Technician to join the Science department at Bourne Academy.
- Grade: GLEA Grade 4
- Salary: £22,795 - £24,444

- Appointment: Full time
- Hours per week: 37 hours
Working as an integral part of the team, the successful candidate will:
• Be reliable and well organised;
• Support the teacher in the classroom and assist in the preparation of equipment and preparation of the classroom;
• Have an understanding and ability to use relevant scientific equipment and solutions;
• Have an understanding of COSHH would be an advantage;
• Record, monitor and re-order stock and materials as required;
• Deliver, check and return stock from the classroom and back to storage;
• Assist in the development of curriculum resources and other support materials for staff;
• Support the Head of Department in annual audits;
• Have experience in a secondary school setting not essential but would be an advantage.
