Job Introduction
Contract: 25 hours per week over 3.5 days per week, based on 52 weeks per year. Some flexibility is required for holiday/sickness cover and unforeseen issues.
North Kesteven Academy is seeking a self-motivated professional to join our existing technician in providing ICT support to students and staff and maintaining our Academy ICT systems. Our ICT team is committed to providing top quality systems management alongside excellent customer service.
To succeed you must be able to demonstrate a minimum of three years’ experience in an ICT support role, experience of working with Windows servers, Microsoft 365 Cloud Infrastructure, Windows-based and Apple Mac client machines, portable devices, and wired and wireless network appliances. Above all, you will possess superb attention to detail and accuracy, excellent communication skills, and a solution-focussed approach.
Knowledge and experience of the systems requirements of a large secondary school would be an advantage, but more important will be your solid technical background, calmness under pressure, ability to adapt to changing priorities effectively, and determination to solve a problem. You will need to be resilient and have the ability to ensure critical tasks are completed without losing sight of the bigger picture.
Working in a secondary school is extremely busy and can be challenging, but we promise that it is also very rewarding, and no two days are the same.
To apply, please download an application pack from the Academy’s website www.nkacademy.co.uk or email jobs@nkacademy.co.uk or telephone 01522 881010. Please note that CVs will not be accepted.
