Job Introduction

ATHENA SCHOOL is looking for a Teacher - Maternity Cover to join their team.

Athena School are looking to employ a Teacher, we will consider applicants trained within Key Stages 1-4. A sound knowledge of the core subjects is required.


Salary: Main Pay Scale + SEN allowance
Contract Type: Temporary (Maternity Cover) until 31st August 2027


Athena school is a Nurture SEMH (social, emotional and mental health) school which is in federation with Fortuna Primary School. The two schools work together to provide quality provision through a shared nurturing ethos for all pupils. If you wish to join our school which is pioneering in its approach to providing care, support and education for pupils with SEMH then we would really like to hear from you!

Athena school are looking for a Teacher to join the school as soon as possible. We are looking for a creative, empathic, passionate and dedicated teacher to join our committed staff team. Experience of working with children who display extremely challenging behaviour would be an advantage. Applications are invited from both newly qualified and experienced teachers from a primary or secondary background to join our happy committed, enthusiastic and supportive staff team.
