Winchelsea Primary School is seeking to appoint an Early Years Practitioner Teaching Assistant within Early Years

Salary: G3 - £24,796 - £25,989 FTE
Contract: 32.5 hours per week Term time only - Permanent
Location: Winchelsea Primary School
Start Date: April 2026

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our EYFS team. You will:
• Support children’s learning and development through play-based, child-centred activities.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
• Work collaboratively with the EYFS lead, colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure every child thrives.
• Be an outstanding practitioner who welcomes every child, supports their needs and creates an inclusive environment for children to feel a sense of belonging.
• Uphold safeguarding, compliance, and EYFS statutory requirements.

What We’re Looking For
• Qualifications: Minimum Level 3 in Childcare/Early Years (or equivalent).
• Experience: Previous work in an EYFS setting desirable.
• Skills: Warm, caring, and enthusiastic with strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment: Passionate about supporting children’s wellbeing, learning, and development.
