We have 2 Teaching Assistant vacancies
Fixed term appointment for 1 year to 31 August 2027
30 hours per week - Monday to Friday
39 weeks per year (Term time plus 5 INSET days)
Salary: Grade 3 SCP 6-9
Actual starting salary: £19,631
We wish to appoint a motivated and committed Teaching Assistant.
We are looking for someone:
who is caring, enthusiastic and innovative.
who has an ability to foster excellent working relationships with children and adults.
who understands how to support children with specific needs.
who can support a child’s learning, behaviour, social inclusion as well as their social and emotional development.
who is a good team player and able to work well as part of a supportive staff.
Who has experience of working in a school environment or other educational setting.
The successful candidate will:
have good Literacy and Numeracy skills (GCSE or equivalent) and NVQ 2 (or equivalent)
have an ability to use their own initiative and be proactive.
be passionate about improving outcomes and supporting children to overcome barriers to learning and fulfil their potential

Fluency Duty
