Wrap Around Care Leader
Contract: Permanent – 1st September 2026
Salary: Grade 5 Point 12–15 – (£23,376 to £25,751 pro rata)
Hours: 18 hours 20 minutes per week
• Breakfast Club: 7:15am – 8:50am
• After School Club: 3:30pm – 6:00pm (with claims between 5:30pm–6:00pm)
About the Role
The successful candidate will lead our school-based wrap around care provision, overseeing the day-to-day running of the service. You will ensure a safe, welcoming and engaging environment, delivering a varied programme of activities that meet the needs of all pupils.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and supervise staff
• Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive activities
• Ensure high standards of health, safety and safeguarding
• Assist with preparing healthy snacks and light meals
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff
• Monitor attendance, bookings and records
• Support behaviour management and pupil wellbeing
• Act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead
• Contribute to the development and growth of the provision
About You
• Level 3 qualification (or willingness to work towards)
• Experience working with children (school experience desirable)
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Flexible, creative and able to think on your feet
• Passionate about providing a fun, inclusive environment
Wrap Around Care Assistants (2 Posts)
Contract: Permanent – 1st September 2026
Salary: Grade 3 Point 6–9 – (£21,267 to £22,291 pro rata)
Post 1 Hours: 16 hours 40 minutes per week
• Monday to Friday
• Breakfast Club: 7:30am – 8:50am
• After School Club: 3:30pm – 6:00pm (with claims between 5:30pm–6:00pm)
Post 2 Hours: 14 hours 40 minutes per week
• Monday to Thursday
• Breakfast Club: 7:30am – 8:50am
• After School Club: 3:30pm – 6:00pm (Monday – Thursday)
About the Role
As a Wrap Around Care Assistant, you will support the delivery of a safe, engaging and nurturing environment where children can thrive beyond the school day.
Key Responsibilities
• Support delivery of activities and play opportunities
• Help create a safe, inclusive and welcoming setting
• Assist with preparing healthy snacks and light meals
• Support children with homework and social development
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety procedures
• Maintain accurate registers and communication with parents
About You
• Experience working with children aged 4–11 (desirable but not essential)
• Positive behaviour management skills
• Caring, reliable and enthusiastic approach
• Strong communication skills
• Willingness to undertake first aid and food hygiene training
Fluency Duty
In accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 (Fluency Duty), the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
