Rauceby Primary School is seeking a dedicated Wrap Around Care Play Leader to join our team and help deliver high-quality after school care provision. We are in the process of extending our wrap around care offer and this is an exciting new opportunity at our school.

About the Role:
As our Wrap Around Care Play Leader, you will play a vital role in supporting and organising engaging play activities that meet the diverse needs and interests of children attending our after school club. This position requires creativity, empathy, and a commitment to promoting the development and wellbeing of every child in your care. This position is for 16.25 hours a week, Monday – Friday 3.00pm – 6.15pm
Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality care with a broad range of stimulating and creative activities tailored to group and individual needs.
• Lead the planning and organisation of play opportunities that support children’s physical, emotional, educational, and social development.
• Act in accordance with school policies, particularly safeguarding and behaviour management.
• Prepare and serve snacks as required, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment.
• Support children with special educational needs and carry out reasonable personal care/hygiene duties.
• Administer basic first aid when necessary.
• Ensure the wraparound environment is tidy and equipment is cleared away after use.
• Assist with the safe movement of children within the provision.
• Keep up to date with the latest childcare developments and best practises.
