Queen Eleanor Primary are seeking to appoint a Year 3 / 4 Class teacher - Temporary with view to become permanent


The Headteacher and Governors of Queen Eleanor Primary School invite applications for the above post from an inspirational, talented and hardworking Year 3 / 4 teacher, who is ready to make a difference to children’s lives, to join our successful team. This post will be for a start after October half term.

We are looking for an inspirational and outstanding teacher to join our KS2 team.

• Has a detailed understanding of the teaching and learning needs within KS2.
• A candidate who can teach across the key stage.
• Has QTS.
• Can demonstrate the drive, imagination and high-level teaching and learning skills to fully engage children and raise standards of attainment and achievement.
• A strong reflective teacher who is highly motivated about teaching and lifelong learning and demonstrates the ability and dedication to be an outstanding practitioner.
• Wants to be part of an established school with high levels of achievement.
• Has excellent classroom, creative and inter personal skills.
• Is passionately committed to education and the social well-being of every child in the school.
• Can continue to build and maintain effective relationships with the school and its ever growing community partners.
• Is confident and enthusiastic about teaching being dedicated to high expectations and successful outcomes and fulfilment for all children.
• Has the ability to form excellent partnerships with staff, parents and carers.
• Is a happy, enthusiastic and friendly team player with the ability to inspire his or her colleagues.
• A specialism in Music or Computing is desirable.

Fluency Duty

In accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 (Fluency Duty), the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
