1:1 Teaching Assistant

Job Introduction

We are looking a 1:1 teaching assistant who:
* Is patient, caring, dedicated and enthusiastic
* Can work creatively and independently
* Is keen to work as part of our successful and friendly team, including working in partnership with the teaching team and other support staff
* Can support their 1:1 child/small groups of children to access their learning and play, pastorally making learning exciting and helping children to reach their full potential
* Is flexible and will go that extra mile to ensure high standards and the best opportunities for the child in their care
* Has experience of supporting the development of social and communication skills.
* Has experience supporting children with language delay
* Understanding and experience of the following would also be of benefit:
- colourful semantics
- attention autism
- sensory circuits
- supporting play
- supporting co-regulation
- supporting the development of self-care skills.
Has experience of supporting a child with complex needs.
Experience of EYFS preferred
