Job Introduction
The William Alvey CofE School requires a 1:1 Teaching Assistant as soon as possible.
We work tirelessly so our school culture ensures the whole of our community feels loved, valued, safe, supported, and heard.
The post will be for the successful candidate to support a Y4 pupil for 17.5 hours a week. The hours will be from 9am till 1230 each day.
We are looking for someone with:
• Experience and understanding of working with children with Speech, Language and Communication needs.
• An empathetic nature, positive outlook, along with the ability to set clear and firm boundaries.
• Understanding and patience.
• The ability to be flexible and ‘think on your feet.’
• Good written and communication skills.
• NVQ 3 or above.
We are looking for candidates who can ideally start as soon as possible but are prepared to wait longer for the right candidate.

Fluency Duty
