Job Introduction

East Wold CE Primary School are looking for 1:1 Teaching Assistants to joint their team. 


4 x 10 hour posts / 2 x 20 hour posts (39 weeks of the year)
Flexible hours – 10 or 20 hours per week
G3 (Point 6 - 9) £24,796 - £25,989 pro rata
Actual annual salary for 20 hours per week is £13,087 - £13,717 pa
(Temporary contract – whilst child remains on roll)

The Governors wish to appoint experienced and enthusiastic individuals to support the objectives of Education Health Care Plans for a Year 6 child and a Year 3 child. Each child requires 20 hours per week.
Ideally, we hope to appoint two people who can each work 20 hours per week, providing 10 hours support for each child.
However, we will also consider applicants who are available for 10 hours per week to work with one child.
The successful candidate will:
• Have proven experience of supporting children with ASD/ADHD and an understanding of their social, emotional, and learning needs.
• Demonstrate a strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
• Be able to work effectively under supervision and on their own initiative, using creativity and flexibility to challenge, motivate, and foster independence.
• Confidently teach and support individuals and small groups outside the main classroom, adapting planning and resources to meet specific needs.
• Promote inclusion within whole-class settings, ensuring every child feels valued and able to participate fully.
• Possess excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a motivated and supportive team.
