Main Responsibilities:
• Support pupils, helping them access learning and make progress.
• Deliver targeted intervention sessions to small groups of children to support their academic, social and emotional development .
• Assist teachers in preparing and delivering high-quality learning activities.
• Promote a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment where all children feel valued.
• Supervise children during break and lunchtime, supporting positive play and behaviour.
• Use your ICT skills to support learning tasks and provide feedback to teachers.
• Cover class sessions during PPA time as required.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Patience, flexibility and a caring nature.
• Ability to build positive relationships and make learning enjoyable.
• English and Maths GCSE (or equivalent) desirable.
• Willingness to work as part of a team and learn about each child’s individual needs.
• Good time-management and the ability to work independently using your own initiative.
• Experience of working with children in any capacity is essential.

The role is 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year 08.30 – 15.30 Monday - Friday, although some flexibility may be required and/or available.
Salary: SCP 3-6 FTE £24,796 - £25,989
Contract type: Permanent
