Salary: £24,796 - £25,989 FTE

Hours per week: 32.5

We are seeking to employ a teaching assistant within our school

This post is to support an existing pupil in KS2 who has additional learning needs. The post holder will be required to work 32.5 hours per week, for 39 weeks. This role is fixed term and subject to each child remaining a pupil at Sturton By Stow School and starts as soon as the successful candidate is able to.

This post will involve class-based support and the delivery of various intervention programmes. The successful candidate will also be involved in the preparation of resources, record-keeping, and liaison with the teaching team, parents, and external agencies. Previous experience of working with children with additional needs would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and dedicated, be able to work flexibly, demonstrate excellent communication skills, use their own initiative and work effectively as part of a team.

Fluency Duty

In accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 (Fluency Duty), the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
