FAMILY SUPPORT WORKER
Contract: 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year. Permanent.
Salary: NJC point 11. £29,071 PRO RATA to £24,934
North Kesteven Academy are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Family Support Worker to join our growing Inclusion team at the heart of our school. North Kesteven Academy wishes to appoint a Family Support Worker to work in our busy school environment and with families in the local community. The role will include working with Academy staff, pupils, parents and carers to provide high quality care and support in personal development, behaviour and welfare. The post holder will work creatively to provide and co-ordinate a range of support including liaison with external agencies, to remove barriers and improve outcomes for young people and their families.
The successful candidate will demonstrate commitment to young people and their development, an understanding of the issues our families in need face and an ability to empathise whilst setting high expectations and clear boundaries.
The post includes recording of information using the school’s database systems, as well as other day to day administration processes. Candidates who are flexible, organised, possess outstanding interpersonal skills, are at ease working in a team environment but also with independence and initiative and IT literate are welcome to apply. Training will be provided as necessary.

Fluency Duty
