Term time only: Yes plus 1 week (39 weeks in total)
Salary grade: G1 scale point 2-3
Salary details: £23,555 - £23,656 FTE (salary will be pro-rata)
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: Part-time 15 hours per week. 10.30am – 1.30pm Monday to Friday

Purpose of the role
We are seeking to appoint a pro-active, enthusiastic and dedicated Catering Assistant to join our team. The post consists of 15 hours per week for 39 weeks per year (term time, plus the equivalent of 1 weeks in holidays for relevant training).
The successful applicant will assist our Cook in preparing and cooking food, as well as serving meals to our children. The role will also involve general kitchen duties such as pot washing and cleaning as directed by the Cook.
Experience in a similar role and a basic food hygiene certificate will be an advantage however training will be provided.
