Catering Manager

Job Introduction

The Academy Board of Boston Grammar School invite applications from reliable and trustworthy persons to take up a Catering Manager post in September 2026, or sooner if possible to enable a handover period. 

As the School Catering Manager you will be responsible for the school kitchen, the preparation and cooking of meals including the preparation of menus and supervision of staff. You will also be responsible for the catering budget and all health and safety aspects in the kitchen, in particular food hygiene.

You will be required to undergo health and safety and the requisite food handling and hygiene training and obtain the appropriate certificates. Previous experience of working within a commercial or school kitchen environment is desirable although not essential.

37 hours per week / 39 weeks per year
(Working hours are currently 6.20am – 2.00pm)
