Two Full time Class Teachers required from September 2025
One temporary role, one Permanent role
Pay; Main Pay Scale (the positions will suit experienced or new teachers)

Monks Abbey is a large primary school in the centre of Lincoln, we serve a very diverse and vibrant community: everyone is made to feel welcome at our wonderful school!

It is an exciting time to join us with the school having new leadership this year - they are working collaboratively with an experienced and committed staff to move the school from strength-to-strength.

Could you help to make the school better for our whole community? If so, we may have a fantastic role for you. We currently want to strengthen our lower school and have two jobs available for a September start. One will be in our reception Unit as a Reception Teacher, the other will be in Key Stage 1. We are offering one permanent position and one temporary one year position.

Fluency Duty

In accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 (Fluency Duty), the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
