Job Introduction
We are looking to recruit a School Cleaner to join our school family in. We are a warm and inclusive Primary school at the heart of its community, situated just a few miles north of Lincoln. Our aim as a Church of England school is ‘educating for life in all its fullness’. We are deeply committed to high quality professional development for all our staff. Hours: 30 hours per week (Term time only) Monday to Friday; 7am to 10am and 4pm to 7pm.
As a school cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the school facilities. This position involves a range of cleaning duties to ensure a welcoming and safe environment for all member of our school community.
Key duties include:
• Vacuum cleaning hard and soft floors
• Spot cleaning of spillages
• Wiping furniture, ledges, pipes, paintwork, doors and polishing door glass
• Emptying and cleaning bins
• Cleaning toilets including sanitary fittings and surrounds
• Mopping and spray cleaning hard floor surfaces
• Wiping and polishing and straightening furniture
• Replenishing janitorial supplies in toilets, etc
• Checking and closing windows, switching off lights after work
• Such other duties as may be allocated from time to time
