Job Introduction

Branston Junior Academy is seeking to appoint a Cleaner to work as part of the premises team and undertake a range of duties to ensure cleanliness of the school premises.

The successful candidate will work alongside our existing cleaner to fulfil the main responsibilities, tasks and duties as outlined in the job description. The appointment will come with a period of induction and safeguarding and health and safety training will be necessary. You will also be expected to take part in routine school staff training where relevant.

Main responsibilities will include:
• Cleaning of all areas of the school including classrooms, toilets, offices and communal areas.
• Replenish consumables such as hand soap, toilet rolls, paper towels etc.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste.
• Perform duties in line with health & safety regulations as well as school policies and procedures.

Fluency Duty
