Community Activator - PE Apprentice

Job Introduction

We're looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice PE Teaching Assistant who shares a passion for sports and working with children. This exciting apprenticeship gives you the chance to inspire and engage young learners, developing their skills and confidence through dynamic PE sessions. You will work closely with experienced staff, receiving the support needed to enhance your knowledge and contribute your own creative ideas to our sports offerings.

A Short Description of what the Apprentice will be doing
• Working in a team to create and deliver engaging and fun sessions.
• Help organise and deliver after-school PE and inter-school events
• Develop skills in PE and Sport, childcare, and teamwork.
• Work alongside an experienced teachers to gain valuable experience.
• Support students' social needs by promoting and modelling positive behaviour.
• Assist in the classroom when required
• Work with teachers, children, parents and the wider community to encourage active lifestyles
