Job Introduction
We are looking to appoint a Design and Technology Technician to join our small, supportive, and forward-thinking team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone with practical and technical skills - particularly in IT applications such as CADCAM - to contribute to the delivery of high-quality Design and Technology education. The ideal candidate will bring a solid understanding of machinery, ICT, tools, and manufacturing processes, along with a proactive, ‘can-do’ attitude and a genuine enthusiasm for designing and making.
25 Hours per week – Hours to suit timetable and school need
38 weeks per year (term time only)
Grade 4 - FTE - £25,989 - £27,254 Pro rata £14,723 - £15,440

Experience with laser cutting and 3D printing would be an advantage, though full training will be provided. Our department thrives on collaboration and innovation, and we pride ourselves on learning from one another to continually improve our practice.
