We have a new and exciting opportunity to support an individual child in our school, delivering the provision outlined in his EHCP – this includes supporting the child with learning and behavioural needs as well as sensory needs. The child is currently in EYFS and we would hope that the successful applicant would support the child as he moves into Key Stage One.

We can consider a range of full or part-time options for the right candidates as well as provide additional hours through a midday supervisor role or cleaning role.

Candidates for the post will in turn need to demonstrate:
• A commitment to our Christian values;
• An ability to challenge all pupils to achieve their potential
• An ability to support a child with additional needs under the guidance of the class teacher but also to adapt learning appropriately using their own initiative and professional judgement.
• A good understanding of how to deal with children with social and emotional needs
• An ability to work with outside agencies to implement strategies and act upon advice given
• Energy and enthusiasm and a passion for learning;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to contribute to an excellent working team;
• A commitment to continuous professional development;

Fluency Duty
