EYFS and KS1 Teacher
Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage One Teacher –
Permanent Part-Time 0.6 FTE Main Pay Scale
Required to start in September 2026. However we would consider an Autumn Term 2 (Monday 2nd November) start for the right candidate.
Mareham Le Fen Church of England Primary School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and motivated EYFS and KS1 teacher to join our happy, supportive and dedicated team. We are seeking a passionate practitioner who is committed to helping every child flourish academically, socially and emotionally at the beginning of their learning journey.

This is an exciting opportunity for an organised, flexible and creative teacher who can work to provide engaging learning experiences through a play-based curriculum, particularly within EYFS and into KS1. The successful candidate will be committed to inclusion and ensuring all children are supported to achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will work closely with the existing class teacher as part of a supportive and collaborative job share arrangement.
Our new teacher will:
• Be an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations for all children;
• Have experience within EYFS and KS1;
• Have experience of, or a strong understanding of, mixed-age teaching;
• Deliver engaging and inspiring learning through a play-based approach;
• Be committed to inclusion and meeting the needs of all learners;
• Have a secure understanding of early reading and phonics;
• Have experience of, or willingness to use, White Rose Maths;
• Build positive relationships with children, staff, parents and the wider community;
• Be organised, flexible and able to work effectively as part of a team and within a collaborative job share partnership;
• Be caring, nurturing and supportive whilst maintaining high expectations;
• Be motivated and able to inspire and motivate others;
• Be willing to contribute fully to the wider life of the school;
• Support and uphold the Christian vision and values of the school.

Fluency Duty
