Start date: 1st January 2026 Salary: ISR Range – 6-11
Following the promotion of our successful and well-respected Head teacher, the Governors of Waddingham School are looking to appoint a visionary leader who will be passionate about further developing our village school.
Our new Head teacher will:
● Continue to make learning a happy experience for every child
● Value every child and strive to ensure that both pupils and staff have high aspirations for achievement
● Be a positive role model, full of creativity with the ability to motivate children and staff alike, inspiring all to reach their full potential
● Continue the embedded strong relationships with children, staff, parents, governors and local community
● Demonstrate strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to further develop the leadership team
● Demonstrate the drive, experience and creativity to build on our current high standards of teaching, through continuous school improvement

Shortlisting will take place on the evening of Monday 15th September 2025.
Interviews will be in Waddingham, all day on Tuesday 23rd September 2025. Shortlisted candidates will be informed about the day when invited to attend.
