Job Introduction

The Governing Body of South Hykeham Community Primary School is looking to appoint an open and inspiring leader, with the enthusiasm and vision to take our school forward. Our retiring headteacher has led the school for over twenty years and created an excellent foundation from which the school can continue to develop.

We are a small rural school, with a strong sense of community, set in the heart of South Hykeham village. Our children are warm and welcoming to all, whilst our staff are dedicated to the development of the whole child. We are seeking a headteacher who will continue to support all members of our school community to grow and flourish. This will be through strategic leadership, as well as a teaching commitment of 0.2.

Fluency Duty

In accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 (Fluency Duty), the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
