Job Introduction

The Head Teacher and Governors of St Michael’s Church of England Primary School are seeking to appoint an exceptional Class Teacher to join our dedicated team at St Michael's C of E Primary School. As the successful candidate, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of our pupils, inspiring them to reach their full potential.

Start Date: 1st September 2025

The successful candidate will have high expectations of pupils’ behaviour and achievements; be able to evidence excellent practice, relative to their experience, and be a genuine team player who is willing to contribute fully to the life of the school and the wider community. The successful candidate must be able to contribute to the school's ethos and vision, which is rooted in Christian values, supporting the personal and academic development of each child in their care.

Fluency Duty

In accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 (Fluency Duty), the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
