The Role
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will take a leading role in supporting our teachers to deliver engaging and individualised learning.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading Learning: Delivering planned learning activities and teaching programmes to individuals or small groups, adjusting them based on student response.
• Planning & Assessment: Collaborating with teachers to plan lessons, evaluate student progress, and assist in developing Individual Plans.
• Student Wellbeing: Supporting the physical, social, and emotional needs of pupils, including personal care and behaviour regulation.
• Inclusion: Promoting a culture of kindness and mutual respect, ensuring every student is fully included in school life.
What We Are Looking For
• Qualifications: A Level 3 qualification in Child Development, Education, or a related field is essential (or evidence of working towards one).
• Education: GCSE Grade 4/C or above in English and Maths.
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience working with children in a school environment.
• Personal Qualities: Patience, resilience, and a creative approach to supporting students with complex needs.
• Transport: Due to our rural location with no public transport, having your own car or other means of transport is essential.
